Assistant Attorney General - Environmental & Natural Resources

The Office is currently seeking three attorneys who will work in the in the Environmental and Natural Resources (ENR) Division of the Office. Two positions are for Assistant Attorneys General (AAG) in the ENR Division. The ENR Division represents state agencies, the Office, and the people of Minnesota in matters impacting the environment and the responsible uses of the State’s natural resources. The third position is for a Special Assistant Attorney General to serve as a fellow sponsored by the New York University School of Law State Energy & Environmental Impact Center (State Impact Center).

Legal Administrative Assistant (Legal Secretary) – Civil Rights Division

The Office of the Minnesota Attorney General is currently seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant (Legal Secretary) in the Civil Rights Division in our Town Square Tower office location. Specifically, this position will support attorneys, paralegals, and investigators as directed by the supervisor.  The work includes but is not limited to preparing legal documents and briefs, efiling, filing, serving legal documents, opening and closing files, retaining records, and occasionally transcribing documents.

Receptionist – Customer Service Specialist

The Office is seeking a Receptionist (Customer Service Specialist) for our Town Square Tower office location. This position will provide customer assistance and other administrative support services to external customers such as constituents and private and public organizations, as well as the employees of the Attorney General’s Office, in person and over the phone.

Student Extern – Summer 2024

Deadline to Apply: Applications will be accepted each semester until positions are filled
The Student Extern will be working with the Statewide Expungement Program and will be assisting with reviewing applications, maintaining files, and drafting proposed orders and stipulations.
