Associate's or more advanced degree preferred. One year experience in a medical office, hospital, outpatient clinic, or other health care settings is required. Experience in a Home Health or Hospice setting is strongly preferred. Must have knowledge of medical terminology with at least one year insurance verification experience which includes knowledge of CPT and HCPCS coding. Must have experience working with insurance companies and have extensive knowledge of different types of coverage and policies. Must be a graduate of a school of physical, occupational or speech therapy, holding a BS or MS or certificate in physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech therapy.
