Summary: The Contract Specialist/Ombudsperson works with Transportation Providers as a liaison to assist with documentation and compliance ensuring timely submission of all deliverables. This position will assist with the Tracking and monitoring of Transportation Provider information to ensure the safe, reliable, cost-effective transportation of clients and Transportation Provider requirements including creating and maintaining files and databases, researching information, and communicating effectively with subcontractors to ensure People For People’s compliance with the Health Care Authority.

This position will also be responsible as the Ombudsperson to resolve client/caller complaints regarding transportation providers/services.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Exceptional oral and written business communication skills as well as strong organizational skills.

  • Excellent knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft integrated applications. Computer and database experience.

  • Self-starter, independent worker, team player, and ability to multi-task.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills to set priorities when managing multiple tasks requiring consistent accuracy.

Preferred:

  • Two years’ experience in the transportation industry, including vehicle inspections, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Starting Wage: $16.94/Hour plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Salary Range: $16.94 - $22.11/Hour.
