Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as an Urgent Care Crisis Assessment Clinician at Behavioral Health Network! 

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the CCBHC Behavioral Health Urgent Care Clinic with the following:.

  • Perform mental health assessments to adults, youth and their families in order to determine their treatment needs .
  • Work closely with patient access navigators who follow clients through the process of getting connected to the services that the Assessment Clinician recommends.
  • Assessments performed at the Behavioral Health Urgent Care Clinic.

BHN’s CCBHC Urgent Care Clinic is open 7 days a week  8am-8pm and provides high-quality, culturally competent care to those with mental health conditions, substance use disorders (SUD), and co-occurring disorders that is both clinically effective and cost effective. This care is provided by rapidly assessing and treating patients, supporting referral and access to appropriate services in the least restrictive setting, stabilizing an acute condition or circumstance while promoting safety and recovery.

Job Requirements:

What are we looking for in an Urgent Care Crisis Assessment Clinician?

  • Graduate of Clinical Master’s program (required).
  • License eligible (required).
  • Licensed- LICSW, LCSW, LMHC (preferred)
  • Reliable transportation during each shift to provide community based services (required).
  • Familiarity with the DSM V (required)
  • Knowledge and application of the Recovery Oriented model, specific to those experiencing a mental health crisis. (preferred)
  • Strong motivational interviewing & listening skills(required)
  • Strong documentation skills (required)
  • Familiarity with internet, word processing and email systems

**NOTICE**

In accordance with the BHN Mandatory COVID vaccine policy - all staff, interns, temps, residents and contractors are required to be fully vaccinated no later than day one of employment. Medical or religious exemptions will be offered and must be approved prior to starting work.

The same guidelines noted above apply during flu season (defined as December 1st – through end of flu season as announced by the CDC) for BHN’s Mandatory Influenza Vaccine policy.
