This position serves as an experienced vascular technologist and is required to perform all aspects of non-invasive vascular testing including but not limited to; Venous insufficiency studies, PVRs w/and w/out ex, renal and mesenteric duplex, AVF and AVG, BPG, Arterial duplex, venous duplex, venous mappings, and carotid duplex. This position may also require traveling to any of our many out-patients Health centers. Assists in education of medical staff and students, collaborate with other departments with participation in research projects. Participate in our monthly system quality meetings. Assist with billing and coding reconciliation, Must maintain active RVT/VT status, meet or exceeds IAC continuing education requirements. A minimum of 2 years experience in non-invasive vascular testing, preferably in a hospital setting. Have an understanding of the vascular QA and IAC accreditation process. Ability to adapt and use different types of ultrasound equipment; basic computer skills; good communication skills.

High School Equivalent / GED RVT - Vascular Technologist - Registered Grad of accredited Vascular Tech Prog OR Sonography Prog w/ Vascular Tech cross-training. RVT/VT. BLS required, ACLS preferred.
