St. Benedict's Prep seeks a full-time middle school humanities teacher to begin in late July.

The position is working with students in the 7th and 8th Grades to learn English and History in integrated courses, in a manner that will help our students succeed as learners, gain necessary post-graduation skills, and grow in college readiness. The 7thgrade course focuses on a World History perspective, while the 8th grade course focuses on a U.S. perspective; instruction in both courses also directly addresses English skills such as grammar, vocabulary, writing, reading comprehension, and literary analysis. Faculty members are also expected to participate in another facet of school life, whether as a coach or activity moderator. We have needs in many extracurricular and co-curricular areas, including swimming, water polo, drama guild, and the school newspaper.
