Director of Nursing Program

Heidelberg University, located in Tiffin, Ohio, seeks a dynamic candidate for the position Director of the Nursing Program. This position is in the School of Natural Sciences and Allied Health Sciences, one of the four schools recently implemented within the new organizational structure of Academic Affairs, and will oversee the new Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. The Director of the Nursing Program is responsible for the planning, implementation, assessment and evaluation of the 1-2-1 Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. This position serves as the official liaison between Heidelberg University, Terra State College, and the Ohio Board of Nursing to carry out the leadership and administration of the nursing program offered by the University.

This is a full-time, 12-month administrative appointment. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience, qualifications and abilities, including a Master’s degree in Nursing, Doctor of Philosophy preferred, and significant nursing experience including at least 7 years a registered nurse with at least 3 of those years in administration or education.
