Professional Development Trainer at Behavioral Health Network

Use your training experience to educate and develop human service providers!

Become a part of our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Curriculum and Training Development Specialist at Behavioral Health Network! Professional Development Trainers deliver training program content developed by external training programs, as well as by Behavioral Health Network employees. Training content includes CPR and CPI, Water Safety, Safe Driving, and residential support training, among others. In addition, Professional Development Trainers also develop online and Intranet course material to be available to BHN employees.

 

Behavioral Health Network is a growing non-profit community behavioral health agency that has been providing services to children, adults, families and communities in Western Massachusetts since 1938.  BHN provides comprehensive, outcome-driven behavioral health care. **NOTICE**

Job Requirements:

Clinical Training Specialist at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:

  • Master's Degree or above in counseling, social work, or related behavioral health field (MA, Ed., MS, MSW, Ph.D., PsyD,) required.
  • Ability to monitor for and maintain licensing board
  • Three or more years of clinical practice and experience in training development, supervision, coordination, and facilitation of behavioral health
  • Demonstrable skill and expertise in various best practices including but not limited to Motivational Interviewing, Solution-oriented methods, and Dual
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Excellent interpersonal
  • Excellent organizational skills; detail-oriented and highly
  • Excellent presentation facilitation,
  • Excellent problem solving and analysis
  • Training facilitation experience and exceptional platform
  • Self-direction and the ability to work
  • Self-motivation and the ability to motivate
  • Ability to work to tight
  • Ability to work as a team player and facilitator.
  • Ability to exercise flexibility to adapt to changes in assignments and work
