Thank you for visiting the City of Omaha website. Open and transparent government is your right and our responsibility. That’s why we have so many ways to provide accurate information and opportunities for you to provide feedback and ask questions.

You will find many features throughout our site. You can apply for permits, submit a report to the Mayor’s Hotline, review crime statistics and recent incidents in your neighborhood, and review the city budget, Capital Improvement Plan, street closing announcements, and City Council agendas. Our website is also the source for city news and updates on major initiatives including the development of the Omaha streetcar, the planned Central Library and new downtown branch, and the distribution of the American Recovery Plan Act funds in our community.

We use Facebook and Twitter to get important news out quickly. Follow the Omaha Police and Fire Departments, the City Clerk, Public Works and Parks Departments, the Omaha Public Library, and many other departments, and please sign up for our city newsletter and download our free mobile app Mobile Omaha on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
