The Avalanche Journal and West Texas Printing are seeking a Mailroom Manager for its printing and operations facility in Lubbock, TX. We are looking for a hands on manager to lead and oversee the department. This is a Working Manager position, and we are looking for "get it done" personality. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. This position has responsibilities over the inserting machines, mail labeling equipment, and the warehouse facilities.

Applicants should have a minimum 5 years of management experience in a fast paced environment. Experience working in a Newspaper mailroom a plus, but not required. Additional experience in scheduling of personnel, training for top quality, deadlines and customer service is expected. The ability to operate and work our machinery is the key to success in making this operation sing. Our night production operation runs seven days a week. Nights and weekends will be required.
