| Job Summary: | Responsibilities include welcoming patients to the office, verification of their identity, address, insurance, and all other demographics. Populate and maintain patient information in the electronic health record. Manage telephone communications with patients, providers, staff, insurance companies, and other outside entities and document such. Manage patient schedules, patient registration, incoming and outgoing referrals. Perform all other clerical duties in the office. Demonstrates good verbal and nonverbal communication skills. Responsible for ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. Maintains patient confidentiality. Ensure patient records are managed according to HIPAA and regulatory requirements. Work with CIOX on timely release of information requests. Other duties as assigned within scope and standards of practice. |

| Minimum Qualifications: |
High school or equivalent required. One year medical office experience or related education. Demonstrates good verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task and be organized. Prior customer service experience. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience. |
| Preferred Qualifications: |
Experience as a Medical Office Receptionist within an OB GYN office preferred. Previous Epic EMR experience preferred. |
