Centre Township Road Department Position

Centre Township Road Department is accepting applications for a full-time laborer/driver. A qualified candidate must possess the following minimum qualifications: Clean Class A PA license; 3 or more years experience operating construction equipment and driving truck with a 58,400 lbs. GVW; available for 24 hour-7 days a week on-call duty; be willing to work overtime; be willing and capable of working with the public; possess general computer skills; the ability to lift up to 75 pounds without restriction; and capable of driving vehicles with a manual transmission. The position will entail plowing snow, operating large equipment, local truck driving, roadside mowing, road repair, earthmoving, building maintenance, and engine repair. Submit salary requirements. Pre-employment alcohol/drug testing and criminal background check is mandatory. Probationary period is for one (1) year.
