NCS Pearson, Inc. seeks Senior Software Engineer in Centennial, CO to provide database technical guidance to software development engineers and cloud/hosting engineers insofar as their working database areas and operation, including traditional data center database and database hosted in the cloud. Participate in the development of the Cloud Governance framework and strategy which will apply to the whole of Pearson.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor degree in IT field or foreign equivalent together with 5 years of experience in database development, including SQL and NOSQL databases. Expertise to include 5 years' experience: setup and maintenance of databases, establishing a security posture, define backup strategies and diagnose and resolve performance issue. Alternatively, will accept Master's degree in IT field plus 3 years' experience.
