The Country Today, a weekly newspaper focused on rural living and agriculture, is looking for a reporter to specialize in the business of agriculture.

TCT is owned by Adams Publishing Group and operates out of the offices of the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram. Eau Claire is a vibrant city in the Chippewa Valley and it is routinely recognized as one of the most livable cities in the nation.

We’re looking for someone who can recognize a story and begin the work without needing to be told to start. That doesn’t mean you’ll be working alone, though. The position works alongside a reporter specializing in rural lifestyles and under an editor who wants you to succeed.

Preferred qualifications include two years in journalism or a journalism degree, demonstrated experience covering business issues, familiarity with photography and website content management. The position offers competitive pay and compensation that includes health, dental, paid vacation and 401(k).
