Highway Foreman

The Town of Stockbridge is seeking a full time Highway Foreman under the supervision of the Highway Department Superintendent. Skilled technical work and supervisory work in overseeing Highway Department work crews on an assigned Public Works job site; all other related work as required. Work may be heavy and performed under adverse working conditions. Applicants are required to have a minimum of a high school education or equivalent a minimum of five years of experience in public works. Experience with municipal and winter operations desirable. Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION: The Town of Stockbridge provides its employees with a robust benefits package which include: Medical, Dental, Sick-Time, Life Insurance, Holiday Pay, Personal Time, Vacation Time, a Pension Plan, and more. This is a full time, 40-hour work week position with occasional overtime as needed and for emergency response. This role is classified as Highway Foreman, $28.74 per hour. Additional compensation includes guaranteed seasonal overtime and professional pay stipend.
