PROJECT MANAGER needed to developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive infrastructure of communication and collaboration between public and private sectors throughout Region 6 with emphasis on meeting and increasing employability of the current and future workforce in the high-demand advanced manufacturing industry. The Middle Georgia Workforce Delivery Area for this project covers the counties of Baldwin, Bibb, Crawford, Houston, Jones, Monroe, Peach, Pulaski, Putnam, Twiggs, and Wilkinson. The Project Manager is responsible for the execution of the grant objectives in accordance with State and Federal regulations. This full-time, exempt position requires a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, and weekends. Regular travel, between counties and remote locations, requires the ability to drive and use of a personal vehicle. Requirements: Bachelor's degree, ideally with post-graduate work, from an accredited college; Minimum of 5 years' work experience in the field of economic/community development, employment, education or training. Experience with workforce development and education preferred. Preference will be given to Certified Economic Development professionals or those in process of achieving certification.
