Quantitative Researcher (Stamford, CT)
Apply technology to research gas, power, & oil commodity pricing & risk trends for energy traders. Develop machine learning/artificial intelligence-based algorithms to predict pricing spreads in natural gas futures contracts. Use programming languages to build, test & implement trading strategies, incl. Python & SQL. Use quantitative methods to code algorithms, & prepare documentation describing pricing models. The position does not involve the supervision of other employees. Must pass a background check. Monday-Friday 40+ hours per week. From $85,000/year.
Requirements
Master's degree in finance, mathematics, economics, statistics or a related quantitative discipline from an accredited U.S. university, or the foreign equivalent. Also required proficiency in Python & SQL.
