Mechanical Engineer

Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

Overtime may be required

The company’s state of the art production facility in Madras, Oregon operates using Lean Manufacturing practices. Responsibilities: Include research, development, design, manufacturing and testing of parts and organizational components. Participate in and influence operations to develop economical manufacturing solutions. Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. Assist shop team members when necessary, regarding design or manufacturing.

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 18 years of age. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred. Demonstrates effective verbal, written, and communication skills; creative, analytical, and detail oriented. May be required to pass employer performance tests including pre-employment drug screening.

Technology & Knowledge: Proficient use of 3D modeling software, with preference in Inventor experience.

Physical Requirements: include ability to sit or stand for 8 to10 hours at a time. Lift 25 lbs.
