Driskell Cotton Farms and Big Creek Farms, jointly, Grand Bay, AL now hiring 21 temporary Farm Workers to work in Mobile County, AL; George and Jackson Counties, MS from 3/1/2018 to 12/14/2018. Hourly wage of $10.95. Plant, cultivate and harvest cropsincluding soybeans, corn, cotton, wheat, peanuts and sod by hand or machine. Operate, repair and maintain tractors and other farm vehicles andequipment. Work outside in hot, humid, cold and/or wet weather conditions; walk, sit, bend, stoop, reach, push or pull for prolonged periods of time; lift, carry and load 50 lbs. repeatedly; climb ladders on grain bins up to 100 ft tall. Three months of verifiable farm work experience required. Employer may pay an end of season bonus up to $300 to workers who have completed the work contract depending on profit. Optional cash advances may be available to workers during the employment period in emergency situations at thediscretion of the employer.Reimbursement of approved cashadvances will be payroll deducted when expressly authorized by the worker in writing. Three quarters of an average of 40 hrs./wk guaranteed. Tools, supplies and equipment provided at no cost. Housing provided at no cost if outside commuting area.
