Multimedia Editor
The Multimedia Editor will be an important member of the Nursing and Allied Health - EBSCO Health team. This team produces training and education videos, illustrations, and animations through creative and original techniques by applying their knowledge of software applications such as Adobe Premiere, Maya, After Effects, Davince Resolve and Adobe Photoshop.
The Multimedia Editor will be involved in media production from beginning to end (storyboarding to complete rendering of media). Rooted in EBSCO Health media product design, the Multimedia Editor will lead projects and work collaboratively with the editorial team to execute and complete multimedia-related projects in the pipeline within deadlines. In addition, the Multimedia Editor will work with contract actors and clinical resources to assure context and content quality, as well as accuracy of materials produced. This position will work in concert with other editors on projects as needed in order to achieve overall team/department goals. The Multimedia Editor is also responsible for keeping current with media technology, software, and processes to continuously improve production quality and output.
Job Responsibilities:
Storyboarding/Scripting from literature
Attending and leading script meetings
Directing, filming and editing media
Following EBSCO Health media guidelines
Assisting other editors in filming
Photography of talents and medical equipment/supplies
Metadata and tracking of media on individual projects
Collaborating with clinicians and document editors
Creating illustrations and animations (2D and 3D)
Managing media assets

The Nursing and Allied Health - EBSCO Health office is located at the Adventist Health Glendale Hospital, Glendale, CA
This position requires candidate to work at our Glendale office, this is not a remote position.
