Mohawk Valley Water Authority is presently seeking a Laboratory Technician to work in unison with our laboratory staff preforming routine tests for the sanitary, chemical and physical analysis of water. The successful candidate shall have the ability to maintain technical records and prepare various related activity reports.

Performance with a high degree of accuracy is essential. Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS registered college or university with an associate civil service position with competitive benefits and salary.

Mohawk Valley Water Authority’s Water Quality Department is responsible for all treatment and distribution water quality. The department is charged with maintaining compliance with the drinking water standards of New York State and the US EPA. Laboratory staff perform thousands of tests each year on your water to ensure the highest quality continues to be delivered to 126,500 customers.
