WILEY RESIDENTIAL & DAY SERVICES

At Wiley Homes, Inc., our friendly and experienced staff will make sure you and your loved ones always feel comfortable and well-informed. Wiley Homes, Inc. provides an array of residential services throughout the Toledo area offering daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our goal is to cultivate the lives of the individuals we serve by fostering healthy relationships, providing opportunities for participation in community activities, assistance in building and/or learning new skills, and promoting self-determination to live as independently as possible with unconditional encouragement to grow and excel. We offer a variety of services and supports, such as, activities of daily living, financial support, including Representative Payee of Social Security, assistance with medical appointments and medication administration, transportation, and more. 

To ensure that each individual meets their goals, we offer 4 different adult day programs.

- A Better Choice 

     A Better Choice is an Adult Day Services program that serves the needs of adults with a variety of developmental disabilities. Our goal is to assist our individuals to be as independent as possible by providing the opportunity for participation in community activities, assistance in learning new things, and encouragement to grow and excel. Our program is person centered. We take great care to get to know each of our clients in order to learn about their own personal goals.

- Wiley Weekends

     Wiley Homes, Inc. also offers a Saturday recreation program, called Wiley Weekends. This program is a great opportunity to get out each Saturday and socialize with others, while participating in fun activities. We will make holistic arts and crafts, such as homemade lotions and body scrubs, 2-liter bottle bird feeders, and newspaper kites, along with learning to cook some healthy dishes. In addition to our monthly themed parties filled with festive entertainment, we have many engaging games, such as corn hole, horse shoes, bowling, and so much more!​

- Wiley Wellness

     Wiley Wellness is an adult day services program that focuses on both mind and body. We offer an active program that provides fitness evaluations, body composition testing, individual goal setting, group exercise classes, and supervised strength training to improve physical health. In addition, we want to promote an overall healthy lifestyle through healthy cooking and nutrition classes, community outings (The University of Toledo recreation center and The University Church), fun activities and games, and holistic arts and crafts.

- Wiley Seniors

Wiley Homes senior program serves the needs of adults with a variety of developmental disabilities. Our goal is to assist our individuals in enjoying their retirement years, by providing the opportunity for participation in community activities, assistance in learning new things, and encouragement to push physical limitations and independence. Our program is person centered. We take great care to get to know each of our clients in order to learn about their own personal goals.

Wiley Works offers an opportunity for paid employment.  Individuals can participate in up to 5 hours of paid employment on various cleaning crews to local churches and other establishments.  A grocery crew is also offered that works various days of the week picking up and organizing groceries for our 10 licensed group homes.  This is a great opportunity to begin developing skills in a community setting while still receiving needed supervision and support.
