Part Time Administrative Assistant – Finance Department

Upper Gwynedd Township located in Montgomery County is looking for a part-time Finance Administrative Assistant. This position is responsible for providing administrative & clerical support to the Finance Department.

Duties include but are not limited to assisting in daily office work including processing accounts receivable and accounts payable, posting general ledger entries, preparing monthly / quarterly account reconcilements, filing, generating reoccurring reports, calendar management of key deliverables, copying, and on occasion front desk reception support. The successful candidate shall have a high school diploma, proficient skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel, with the ability and interest to learn new accounting software. The successful candidate shall possess strong customer service skills, knowledge of general accounting processes and perform duties in responsible, polite, and professional manner. Having an accounting degree or 1 to 2 years of experience is a plus.
