Professional: 

Spartanburg County First Steps is seeking an experienced Director to lead The Franklin School, a unique early learning center that will serve approximately 160 children, 6 weeks through age four. The Franklin School is founded on community collaboration and the desire to see current research and expertise on early childhood development and education put into practice. The Franklin School will open in January 2019 in a state of the art, newly constructed, 28,000 square feet facility.

The Director will have the opportunity to be involved in the planning and launch the new school. The Director must have a collaborative spirit, be willing to take on new challenges and inspire everyone in the building to learn and grow. A minimum of a Bachelor of Arts degree in a related field is required. 

Employment & Compensation:

Anticipated Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm (some evenings/weekends as needed)

Salary Expectations: $55,000-$70,000, commiserate with qualifications.
