Lower Pottsgrove Township Police Department

Lower Pottsgrove Township will be accepting applications for the position of full-time Police Officer beginning at 7:00 AM on March 2, 2021

Qualification Minimum 21 years of age; High School diploma or GED; Must possess valid PA Drivers License prior to appointment; be a US citizen; able to successfully complete written, oral, medical, psychological, physical agility & polygraph exams & thorough background investigation. Must have completed and passed MPOETC Act 120 police certification to apply or be enrolled in such training course at time of application (must have completed and passed course prior to eligibility for appointment).

Starting salary range: $61,755 to $77,194 (as stipulated by current LPPD Police Officer Contract) Must be submitted in person. The written test for Full Time Police Officer will be held on April 14, 2021. Testing time is promptly at 1800 hours Place: Ringing Hill Fire Company 815 White Pine Lane, Pottstown, PA 19464.
