PURCHASING COORDINATOR

Snohomish County 911 is seeking a candidate to fill a full time Purchasing Coordinator position. This position is term limited and expected to last not more than two (2) years, but may be evaluated at a later time to become a permanent position. As the Purchasing Coordinator, you possess technical and clerical skills to perform procurement of supplies, materials, equipment and services. The work includes obtaining quotes and completing purchases within established limits and guideline, creating purchase orders and assisting with the development of specifications for and the purchase of specific items, and publishing and administering request for proposals (RFP) processes. You will be an important member of our team that helps ensure our ability to continue providing this vital public safety service to our communities.
