Safety Manager LOCAL COMPANY, LEADER IN THE OIL & GAS SERVICING INDUSTRY IS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A SAFETY MANAGER FOR ITS MAIN OFFICE IN MIDLAND, TX. GREAT SALARY- DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE, AND BENEFITS PACKAGE! This job will lead and manage the Health, Safety, Environmental and Security processes. Will be responsible for the management of the safety and environmental programs to comply with company's standards, guidelines and federal regulations. This position will also be accountable for ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT), including driver competency (licensing, qualifications, record keeping, etc.), vehicle operations (Federal and State inspections), & compliance audits. Requirements: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school. Bachelor's degree preferred. 5 years HSE experience in the oil and gas industry preferred. At least 2 years' experience supervising others. Expertise with Safety, DOT, OSHA and Environmental regulatory requirements. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus! Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point) preferred. Must have valid driver's license and good driving record. (CDL a plus!)
