The Berkshire County Jail and House of Correction is seeking experienced Part-time and Per Diem Nurses in our busy health services department. 

Our facility clinic cares for acute and chronic health conditions and provides high quality care to patients of all ages. We offer continual learning supported by a dedicated Director of Nursing who assists in the provision of training. 

Essential criteria: 

- Current licensure with the Massachusetts Board of Nurses 

- Current certification in CPR/AED 

- Acute care experience helpful -Demonstrated interpersonal and written communication skills 

- An understanding and knowledge of chronic health conditions and substance abuse issues -Ability to work in cooperative manner with other staff 

- Regular and punctual attendance State employee
