Freedom Resource Center for Independent Living, a disability rights organization, seeks: A full time with benefits Independent Living Advocate/Peer Mentoring Specialist to provide general services from its Fargo office.

Duties: Skills training and advocacy for people with disabilities, information and referral and outreach. This also includes community involvement and to recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for peer mentoring activities; attend and organize community events for consumers. 

Experience: Candidates should have knowledge and experience in disability-related services and issues. Good interpersonal and communication skills essential. Experience in volunteer coordination preferred. Travel required.
