  • Escorts, transports patients to and from the various nursing divisions as well as other ancillary departments ensuring patient safety during trasnport.
  • Assists patients when necessary to change clothes and dress into hospital gown.
  • Assists moving patients onto and off the xray tables as needed.
  • Delivers and picks up xrays and related items from various divisions and the main Radiology File Room.
  • Coordinates patient transport with technologists and nurses to avoid delays and to nesure department efficiency.
  • Previous employment in Radiology, hopsital or patient care setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, knowledge of wheeelchairs, hopsital beds and transport carts.
  • This is the day shift and the hours 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
  • Monday-Friday with rotating weekends and holidays.
  • The location for this position is the Parma Medical Center.
