Residential Supervisor

The Children's Home, Binghamton, NY is looking for a Unit Supervisor on our Residential Campus

Looking for an experienced human service professional to oversee and coordinate the running of a residential unit of at-risk youth.    Lead, direct and support the work of child care staff.  Make decisions around staffing assignments and provide hands on mentoring and teaching.  The ability to engage with all types of children and previous supervisory experience required.  Must have demonstrated experience in working with youth.  This is a professional position requiring an energetic individual to provide ongoing leadership and support.   Must be willing to work non-traditional hours and be flexible based on the needs of the position.    This position is fast paced, requiring the ability to multi-task and engage children and staff in building and maintaining a therapeutic environment.  Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving and organization skills required.  A valid driver's license and working knowledge of computers required. 

Bachelor degree preferred.  Experience in a Residential Treatment Center environment is a plus.  Salary commensurate with experience.  Overtime available.  Excellent Benefits, including generous paid time off, 6 % Employer Pension contribution, employer paid health care, child care and tuition reimbursement.
