Executive Director The Blaine County Recreation District (“BCRD”), an independent taxing district with 501(c)3 status, is seeking an exceptional individual to serve as its Executive Director. 

The Executive Director reports directly to the Board of Directors and acts as the chief executive officer of the organization. The Executive Director has overall responsibility for managing the District and directly assists the Board in the planning, organization, execution and administration of all functions, facilities, and programming.

BCRD seeks an exceptional leader who will engage stakeholders in supporting its vision, lead the development and execution of robust strategic and business plans, foster collaborations with various partners, provide accountability and transparency; promote the BCRD as a leading service organization, execute a development strategy with individual donors, foundations and continue to increase earned income opportunities.

Primary responsibilities include leadership: vision, strategy, and business planning; program stewardship; resource development and community relations; and financial and organizational management. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with experience managing complex organizations. The candidate will demonstrate a passion for BCRD’s mission supporting active recreation. This person will have solid professional skills in empowering and developing staff and financial management.
