The Southeast Tennessee Development District is seeking a Performance & Compliance Specialist to work in our Workforce Development Program. This position will be responsible for the fiscal and programmatic monitoring for all contracted service providers, subcontractors, and employers accessing contracted business services. Program activities will also be monitored to ensure that performance measures being met and/or exceeded for the public workforce system, The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), be able to maintain confidential information, and have outstanding organizational and computer skills. Candidates must be able to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with internal/external contacts and partners and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team. A Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) or Associate Degree in a related field is required. Knowledge of grant programs, monitoring, or business services is preferred.
