DIRECTOR
Defiance County Senior Services – Director

The Board of Defiance County Commissioners is seeking qualified applicants for a Director of the Defiance County Senior Services.

The primary objective of this position, under the general direction of the Board of Commissioners and direct supervision of the Finance Manager/Administrator, is to oversee all operations of Defiance County Senior Services personnel and programming, to insure efficiency, compliance, quality and professionalism in meeting the needs of senior adults throughout Defiance County.

Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have excellent public relations and customer service skills. Considerable knowledge of senior issues, gerontology and the application of supervisory techniques is preferred. Must possess a valid State of Ohio Motor Vehicle Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record and insurability.

Starting salary range is $47,840 - $56,160, based on qualifications and experience. Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent plus substantial related work experience and/or specialized or technical training is required.

This is a full-time unclassified position; pay commensurate with experience.
