Sewickley Hills Borough seeking Part-time Treasurer

Sewickley Hills Borough is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of part-time Treasurer. This position requires approximately 25-30 hours per month.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Must be proficient in QuickBooks (accrual-base accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, budgeting, general ledger, journal entries, and financial
statement preparation; strong organizational skills and attention to detail;) experience with municipal government and audits (preferred); experience with forms and reports
for compliance with state/federal government requirements (preferred); 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping (preferred); Associate’s Degree or higher in Accounting or similar field (preferred). Presence at monthly meetings second Tuesday of month necessary. Must attend General Council meeting October 13, 2020 for interview.
