San Luis Valley Health: Performs all antibody screening, identification, & cross-matching procedures required in the administration of blood & blood components.

Requirements: Bachelor's (or foreign equivalent) in a medical technician or related. 5 years experience as a medical technician or related, which must include: setting up new laboratory & preparing standard operating procedure in all areas of the lab; monitor continuous team compliance & implement technical & QA policies based on established standards to ensure a successful accreditation & reaccreditation; initiation & implementation of new test method validation & setting up fundamentals for laboratory testing; perform antibody identification, elution, & phenotyping; & performed & oversaw validation experiments of new tests.
