·         Prior Customer Service experience

·         Retail Banking experience preferred

·         Ability to build relationships is essential

·         Demonstrate knowledge of banking products 

·         Strong understanding of company software applications and internal processes impacting the service of customer relationships 

·         Ability to solve problems with little assistance.  Will have decision making capability 

·         Knowledge of checking, savings, and loan products  

·         Knowledge of the internet, including web-based and e-mail applications, Excel, Microsoft Word

·         Ability to learn new systems quickly. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities include:

 

·         Establish customer CIF files and open new accounts with appropriate identification.

·         Complete other operational duties as assigned, including those unique to the requirements of assigned branch office.

·         Process customer transactions and problem resolution as required ensuring branch service is maintained at high levels.

·         Expected to resolve easy to complex customer service issues expeditiously while providing a very high touch customer experience. 

·         Use a variety of systems to service customers. 

·         Ability to identify and cross-sell Banks products and services beneficial to the customers needs.

·         Identify fraudulent activity to prevent potential losses and maintain awareness of current fraud alerts.

·         Ensure all functions are completed within stated guidelines.

·         Maintain current knowledge of Company products and services and applicable Federal regulations, including Bank Secrecy and Know Your Customer principles. Adhere strictly to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with Company and regulatory standards, policies and practices; report control weaknesses, compliance breaches and operational loss events.

·         Review reports and resolve exceptions as stated in procedures.

·         Train other employees within Branch, as required

·         Perform other duties, as assigned
