Accounts Payable Clerk

The Town of Westbrook is seeking applicants for a Accounts Payable Clerk Finance Department. The Town of Westbrook is seeking applicants for a part time Accounts Payable Clerk in the Finance Department (5 to 10 hours per week, non-Union position). This position will perform accounting work and record keeping of financial transactions, reviews requests for payment, input check requests, print checks and prepares and reviews invoices and related information. Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent, one to two years experience in account-keeping functions or other financial work or equivalent combination of both, proficiency in operating a personal computer, assigned software and standard office equipment and the ability to establish and maintain files and record systems. Ability to maintain a good working relationship with others.
