Applications Systems Analyst - Specialist (BCBST, Chattanooga, TN)

Requires Bachelor’s (US/foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related or equivalent years experience; 3 years systems & programming experience in Java & J2EE; 3 years experience using front end technology including CSS, bootstrap, Angular JS & creating websites; 1 year experience with information technology concepts, application development methodology, terminology, & standards; knowledge of JSR 286 portlets; able to implement SOAP & REST services using J2EE & jersey; proven analysis, design, & coding skills & demonstrated success in leading large & complex project; demonstrated ability to interpret & translate tech or complex concepts into information meaningful to project team members or business personnel; organized, reliable, & able to manage multiple tasks with exceptional work ethic; able to communicate effectively with both tech & non-tech co-workers. In lieu of Bachelor’s, will accept 1 year of technical experience for each year of requested college ed in addition to experience requires above.
