Director, Department of Public Works Town of Adams 

The Town of Adams is seeking resumes from qualified applicants to fill the Director of Public Works position. Ideal candidate will be a skilled professional with a civil engineering background, experienced in community maintenance and public works operations. The DPW Director manages a staff of 12-20 employees, and is responsible for municipal streets and sidewalks, sewer system, storm drainage, cemeteries, parks, Town-owned buildings, and repair-maintenance of vehicles and equipment. Must be familiar and experienced managing a full range of community services efficiently and effectively. Financial challenges demand strong budget and management skills, team building, and ability to develop creative solutions to address community needs. Bachelor's Degree in a field relative to civil engineering, public administration, or engineering management, five years progressively responsible experience in public works operations, civil engineering, construction, or any equivalent combination thereof.
