We are currently looking for a Warehouse/Shop Manager. The Shop and Warehouse Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and controlling of a warehouse/shop's overall operations. The manager has to manage stock control, the receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods. The successful candidate will have experience in Warehouse Management and knowledge in Haz Waste Control, Inventory Control and Equipment Maintenance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan out all warehouse/shop resources and activities in keeping the company's objectives and targets
• Make plans for the development of the staff by organizing training sessions
• Ensure that all the health and safety requirements are met
• Take responsibility for the security of the building and stock
• Maintain and issue inventory report, entry and exit status report, dead stock report, consumption report
• Implement cost reduction measures in all aspects of warehouse/shop transactions activities
• Schedules daily shop activities on site and off site
• Measures of improvement and development of the warehouse/shop
• Motivates staff to make an effective and efficient team -Negotiate rates with common supplier representatives
• Maintain physical conditions of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment and issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
• Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up and on work results

• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying of 50 pounds
• Knowledge in Safety Management, Inventory Control, Equipment Maintenance
• Knowledge of heavy equipment and truck repairs Education
• Bachelor's degree in commerce or management degree may be required or equivalent experience of 5 years as a warehouse/shop manager.
• Hazard waste experience a plus
• Knowledge of metal fabrication a plus
