ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Duties:
- Conduct neuropsychological evaluations for the purpose of diagnosing cognitive impairment, brain injury, and other conditions.
- Perform longitudinal assessment for people with neurological disorders.
- Assist patients to reach their treatment goals
- Perform Wada testing as part of the pre-surgical evaluation for people with epilepsy.
- Perform evaluative duties and offer solid expert opinion
- Participate in conferences and seminars to keep abreast of recent developments in the field
Requirements:
- A PhD or PsyD in a related field
- A valid medical license
- Technical skills to interpret data from various tests and assessments
- Clinical skills to understand a patient's condition and develop treatment plans to help them overcome their challenges
- Strong analytical skills, attention to details and ability to remain focus on the task at hand
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
