We are looking for a Client Services Representative with a passion for customer service to join our Employee Benefits team. This person will assist our Employee Benefits Consultants with overseeing the day-to-day customer and policy service on accounts.

In this role you will:

 

  • Ensure compliance with professional standards including templates, client calendars and peer review.
  • Assist with developing employee communication strategy and the execution of this strategy including providing resources to facilitate the open enrollment process.
  • Assist in facilitating necessary carrier/vendor relationships with appropriate contacts to serve clients in handling all administration of eligibility, claims, billing, plan implementation, researching issues, contracts, plan changes and necessary amendments.
  • Work with the consultant in resolving client issues via phone or email.
  • Review plan documents for compliance and accuracy. Ensures benefits are accurately reflected and information is included where appropriate. Follows up with the carriers as appropriate.
  • Provide support with the entire benefit life cycle from strategy creation, marketing, open enrollment, and post enrollment administrative tasks.
  • Maintain all appropriate documents in proper files while adhering to filing structure and naming conventions.
  • Provide administrative assistance to include scheduling appointments, creating, and running reports, reconciling invoices, mailing client packages, requesting various documents from carriers including renewals, gathers signatures from various parties on plan contracts, updating contacts with various entities, and more.
  •  Responsible for maintaining the client database system.

 

You have:

 

  • High School Diploma
  • Life & Health insurance license, or obtain within 90 days (employer paid)
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PDF
  • PowerPoint creation experience
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent follow-up skills
  • Extremely organized
  • Work in a fast-paced environment

 

You May Have:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
  • Employee benefits experience is a plus
