Public Health – Seattle & King County is recruiting a Referral Coordinator for four family planning clinics, located in South King County (Kent, Auburn, Federal Way) and Bellevue to provide support to our clients in linking with follow-up care and assistance within our clinics and as well as with health and social service resources in our community. Family planning clinics provide birth control, emergency contraception, STD testing and treatment, PrEP (HIV prevention medication), pregnancy testing and options counseling, HPV vaccination and breast and cervical cancer screenings that are free or low cost.
The Referral Coordinator is responsible for processing new referrals, assisting clients with obtaining financial assistance from insurance plans and community services, such as Breast, Cervical and Colon Health Program and the Washington State PrEP Drug Assistance Program, and obtaining insurance authorization. This position also tracks, contacts and schedules clients for follow-up services within the family planning clinic.
