The Department of Surgery, Division of Transplant Surgery at the University of Washington School of Medicine is recruiting for a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP/ PA-C) at the rank of Teaching Associate on a twelve month service period, with an anticipated start date in Fall 2019. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service. Will serve as an ARNP/PA-C on the Transplant Surgery Service at the University of Washington Medical Center. This position will follow Intestinal Failure and Intestine transplant patients pre-operatively, during their transplant inpatient stay and post-operatively. In addition, this position will participate in kidney or liver transplant clinics, Living Donor evaluations for Kidney Liver, and provide back-up coverage for kidney or liver transplant inpatient admissions.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Graduate Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or accredited Physician Assistant program
• Nationally certified ARNP/PA with DEA
• Current and valid state licensure as an ARNP or PA in Washington State
