Set in an historic small town, nestled at the base of the Blue Mountains and surrounded by fertile farmlands and breathtaking mountain wilderness, Eastern Oregon University (EOU) is a great place to work. EOU is committed to all of its students from its international students from around the globe to those with local roots in the intermountain rural West.

A small intimate academic community, Eastern Oregon University was ranked number two in the nation by Consumers Digest magazine as "Best Value for Public Colleges and Universities". With only 1500 students on campus, small intimate classes, and 350 faculty and staff who are passionate about undergraduate education and serving our rural region, EOU is a very special place.

The University guides student inquiry through integrated, high-quality liberal arts and professional programs, including: 37 bachelor's degrees, 5 bachelor of applied science degrees, and partnership programs offering a bachelor's degree in nursing and three bachelor's degrees in agriculture; up to 39 different minors options; multiple pre-professional programs; an associate of arts in education; various undergraduate, post-bacc and graduate certificates and master's degrees in business, fine arts, teaching elementary and secondary education and master of science degrees in six education topics. Moreover, EOU is recognized as a national leader in distance education, offering extended opportunities for over 1500 additional students at 11 centers throughout Oregon and beyond.

Working in an environment where ideas are important, where critical thinking and collaboration are valued, can be exciting and rewarding and challenging. At EOU, you'll work with bright, diverse, and dedicated people, all of whom share a deeply personal commitment to advance and sustain a very special learning environment.
