Sand Springs Children's Home is seeking married couples to serve as Houseparents.  We are seeking couples who are ready to invest in the lives of our children.  Houseparents at Sand Springs Home care for as many as 8 children in one of our two co-ed cottages.  The role requires couples to serve as parents for the children, including supervision, nurturing, meal preparation, assisting with school work, and mentoring.  Our model of care is very family-oriented and relational.  Houseparents are a key component and connection point for our kids.  They create lifelong bonds with the children and have the potential to make lasting change in their lives.      

This position is full-time for both parents, and includes salary, housing, insurance, and retirement benefits.

Experience in youth programs, child-care, or education is preferred, but not required.  

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to pass a background check, driving record check, and drug screen.
