The Beaver Falls Municipal Authority is currently accepting applications for the position of Water Treatment Plant Operator in our 24-hour water treatment plant. Candidate will be required to obtain a DEP 'Class A’ certification within 6 months of hire, preferred one-year operating experience in a water treatment plant. Ability to do math/algebraic equations and a basic understanding of chemistry, use laboratory equipment, computer, Environmental Science background is helpful. Full time shift work position including weekends, nights, holidays, and overtime. Applicants must be physically capable of lifting and/or carrying 50 lbs., walking up and down stairs, climbing ladders, and ability to wear a respirator.
