Job Summary: Functions as Assistant Supervisor to help oversee overall operations of the Phlebotomy and Receiving areas. Responsible for various administration functions; Interview, hire, and review training/orientation with new staff. Monitor personnel problems (i.e. frequent errors, attendance problems, inappropriate behavior, and counsels on as-needed basis.) Answer questions from outside clients regarding test ordering, drawing, and registration of patients. Candidate is expected to perform Receiving, Processing and Phlebotomy duties as needed.  Minimum Qualifications:

NYS licensed to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Bachelor's degree of Science and 6 years of clinical laboratory experience required. Ability to distinguish colors required. Must be proficient at performing Phlebotomy.

Work Days:

Monday - Friday, Days, weekends and holidays may be required.
