Job Description

Job Summary

In this role, you will work on SalesForce.com solutions that bring efficiency and an improved member or provider experience to our organization. In addition, this position will assist in using various tools to execute and build on our SalesForce platform systems deck. As a key member of the Information Service tea, you will be responsible for developing, configuration, improvement of the SaelsForce platform. To accomplish, this, you will partner closely with IS, Sales Teams, Customer Service Teams, Operational Support Teams and other teams to understand business needs and provide automated solutions.

Essential Functions

• Under minimal supervision, works independently with customers to analyze and compile business requirements for applications, and then research, plan, design, develop and implement customer-focused programming solutions that adhere to the development policies and standards, and align with the Information Services architectural design and customer’s business needs.
• May also code, test and implement software enhancements and/or apply patches, as well as prepare the appropriate documentation to support a new system, or to record modifications that have been made to existing application programs.
• Helps drive risk assessment by developing, implementing and evaluating system design strategies, specifications and models.
• Provides process leadership for work groups, and assists in product/service delivery strategy and work plans.
• Owns the resolution for product, implementation and/or functionality issues, and provides troubleshooting support.
• Makes opportunities to expand skills by learning from those with more experience, and shares knowledge, by coaching less seasoned Applications Development Analysts.
• Maximize the value from Salesforce and make decision on in-built vs custom build solutions.
• Continuously expand Salesforce knowledge and leverage new capabilities and features to meet business needs.
• Ability to support and triage production issues

Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree related field
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree related field

• Less than 2 years of relevant experience developing and supporting applications, and or system development lifecycle including coding, testing, and implementation Required
• Proficient with Apex, Vlocity, VisualForce, Triggers, Force.com, Web Services, Lightning, Native, MySQL and JavaScript"
• Demonstrated experience working in medium to large scale Salesforce implementations (Service, Sales and Marketing)

Preferred:

• Salesforce Developer Certification (current)
• General web development background (Java/JEE, JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, Spring)
